Tsí Mǟn “red ochre lake” is on the south side of Tsí Dhǟl “red ochre mountain”. Red ochre is the soft, crumbly rock that can be seen as red patches on the mountainside. The Southern Tutchone collected the mineral to make dye and paint and to use as a trade item.

This is a good fishing lake, with many species represented. Southern Tutchone people go to this lake to get cheghär (broad whitefish). There is a Territorial Campground at Pine Lake.
